This version comes with an outer layer of aluminum foil insulation.

In addition to the benefits of K FLEX ST as a dust + fibre-free insulation with vapour-barrier properties, the aluminum foil insulation provides improved thermal and vapour-barrier capabilities, through reflecting off radiation and UV light from the surface, and preventing build-up of moisture in the elastomeric tubing.

This makes K FLEX ST with AL Foil a good choice for insulating HVAC ducting, buildings and marine infrastructure.
