K-Flex K414 Glue is an acetone-based contact adhesive with good performance, specially formulated for bonding together the seams and butt ends of both elastomeric pipe and sheet insulation with many different surfaces, or to bond with both porous and non-porous materials.
Because the glue does not get absorbed rapidly, and can be dried fairly easily without the use of special blow-drying equipment, this makes K-Flex K414 Glue a superior choice of contact adhesives for both novice and experienced contractors alike.
Applications
The K-Flex K414 Glue is recommended for systems with service temperatures reaching up to 120°C, and requiring bonding of seams and joints. The adhesive is suitable for use with machinery or systems with service temperatures ranging from -30°C to 100°C, if applied directly onto the large flat or curved surfaces of these systems. The product forms a resilient, flexible, moisture and heat-resistant bond when used with elastomeric products. Having a low viscosity ensures easy application of the adhesive, and maximum area of effective contact surfaces is achieved.
